Our motivation for this journey?

We met ten years ago on a backpacking trip in Australia. We’d like to pass on our passion for foreign cultures to our children, they shall grow up as open and tolerant persons. Additionally our family is growing together.

Our vision is to create an enjoyable and child friendly travel experience. With all possibilities of today’s mobility we use…but for us the best and most intensive way to meet people, landscape and climate is when riding our compact bikes with children’s trailers in tow.

It’s not about the number of miles or kilometres we ride per day but about impressions and experiencing cultures. We experience great hospitality, once a week we’re invited somewhere – “the kindness of strangers”. Amazing landscape and watching the children playing in the nature compensate rainy days, moscitos, almost missing the plane and the children’s sickness during our trip in the Chickenbus in Guatemala.
