I’m connected to the elements water and wind since childhood. At the age of only 4 years I’ve first been surfing with my dads windsurfboard and in the following years with my own gear.
In 1999 I started kitesurfing with my Dad. One of us was kitesurfing with a Naish A R 3,5“ (9 m²) and a Naish 7,6 surfboard, the other one safeguarded with a windsurfboard. For me it was quite easy since I’ve already had experience in kite flying, snowboarding and skateboarding.

After my enhanced high-school diploma I first started travelling as a kite- and windsurf coach.
I’ve participated in the Fuerteventura PKRA Kitesurf Worldcup in 2002. Unfortunately I’ve been way too nervous and could not perform well.
I got my first kitesponsor E H Cabarete when I was in Dominican Republic in 2003 and participated in the German Kitesurftrophy in 2004 for the first time.

At the PKRA Worldcup in Podersdorf in 2005 I’ve made it to the 7th place, which was the best worldcup ranking for a german rider until then.
Furthermore I’ve won the German Kitesurftrophy and a ticket to the Red Bull King of the Air on Hawaii.

Unfortunately everything went wrong and I hurt my meniscus while skateboarding.
After my knee surgery I was quickly back on the water and went straight to Hawaii.
While kiting in Hawaii I got a rupture of the cruciate ligament and had to go back home without finishing the event.

However, I’ve first been kiting again about 5 months later in Berlin. It was a new experience since I was kiting on snow and ice in Berlin for the first time.
At the end of 2006 I was fit again and tried to find sponsors to support me on an international base.
Though the offered sponsorings didn’t satisfy me, so I had several casual work during the winter, as for example packer for DPD or as a kite coach, again.

I’ve started my apprenticeship as certified Sportsassistant and Wellnesscoach and spent 2 long years without time and money to go kiting. I had to think about my beloved sport Kiting, which I could not do without.
It was nothing but consequent to find a new kitesponsor (Wainman Hawaii). In the summer of 2009 I was back in training true to the motto „all or nothing“!
I think I was quite succesful since I can call myself the german runner-up in Kitesurfing 2010.
