Kites because…
I saw lots of riders in the water, liked what I saw and wanted to learn it.
I was simply infected! When I first started kitesurfing the overall conditions were not that great. The weather was bad and the water was about 3 degrees cold etc. I was in Denmark on an isle called “Romo” in April. My dad wanted to show me how and what kitesurfing is. I was really excited and the bad conditions didn’t keep me from trying it…

First I’ve practiced all that body-drag stuff with a 3 square meter softkite or stuntkite. And I was stoked after my first day of training on the water. On the following days I’ve learnt to handle a tubekite. After that I’ve learnt to actually ride a board pretty fast.
I got to know some german riders who pushed me and taught me how to jump.

I really love kiting, since I’m having loads of fun and enjoy each minute I’m in the water. It is a thrilling experience flying in the air and practicing new tricks. Even crashing is kind of fun. It is perfect to train in nice conditions as flat water, wind of about 7 or 9 and feeling the warm sunlight.

Dislikes:
Wild cabbage, olives and people who are stressed out!

I wake up with music and I usually fall asleep with it. Generally I listen to all sorts of music. It depends on my mood, but my passion is HipHop, RnB, House and Rock music. Jack Johnson, Arctic Monkeys, Alice in Videoland are just a few of my favorite artists.
